Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) Compound Resin ECOTRAN

Chlorine Free Eco-friendly PPS

 

ECOTRAN is world’s first to present Chlorine free, eco-friendly PPS. Ecotran PPS offers high purity, low out-gas, high flowability and easy handling.

ECOTRAN is manufactured by using Benzene and Sulfur without any chloride compounds. Unlike the conventional PPS, Ecotran is produced by eco-friendly manufacturing process that generates significantly less by-product.

PPS Characteristic

Exceptional Thermal Stability

UL Temperature Index(RTI) : ~220ºC

HDT(Heat Deflection Temperature) : > 260ºC

Various Processability

Extrusion/Injection/Spin/Draw/ Calendering. It can be used various application such as compound/fiber/film etc

Superior Mechanical Properities

Retention of fatigue resistance and creep resistance with high strength and high stiffness in diverse condition.

Inherent Non-Flammability

UL94V-O/5VA without

The addition of a separate Flame retardant

Excellent Dimensional Stability

Due to minimal mold-shrinkage characteristics and low coefficient of linear expansion, superior dimensional stability is secured even in high-temperature, high-humidity conditions.

Excellent Chemical Resistance

As it cannot be melted by and solvent less than 200ºC It has a similar level of chemical resistance to PTE
